Hormone Therapy in Mississippi
You know something has shifted. The fatigue, the weight that will not move, the sleep that no longer restores you, the sense that you are not yourself. You have probably been told your labs are normal. We have heard that before.
AllureMD is a physician-led hormone optimization practice based in Madison, Mississippi, founded by Dr. Lilian Massihi, MD. We care for women and men across the entire state by telehealth, so you are seen from home whether you live in Madison, Jackson, Brandon, Flowood, Ridgeland, on the Coast, or anywhere in between. Every dose is decided by a physician and titrated to how you feel, not to what a reference range calls acceptable.

Real hormone care, anywhere in Mississippi
Most hormone care in Mississippi still requires you to find a clinic, take time off, and drive. AllureMD was built differently. Your visits, lab review, and dose adjustments happen by secure telehealth, so distance is no longer the reason you go untreated.
That matters most if you live outside a major metro. A woman in Meridian or Tupelo gets the same physician-directed protocol as one in Ridgeland. Your labs are drawn locally at a trusted, accredited laboratory near you, then reviewed with you over video.
We serve patients statewide, with the strongest roots in the central Mississippi area:
- Madison County: Madison, Ridgeland
- Hinds County: Jackson, Clinton
- Rankin County: Brandon, Flowood, Pearl
- Statewide: Gulfport, Biloxi, Hattiesburg, Tupelo, Southaven, Oxford, Meridian, Starkville
What physician-led hormone therapy actually means
Hormone therapy is not a single product. It is the careful balancing of an entire system: estrogen, progesterone, testosterone, thyroid, and the metabolic function tied to all of them. We use bioidentical hormones only, never synthetic substitutes, and the physician decides every dose. The pharmacy does not.
This is the difference between optimization and a one-size protocol:
- Bioidentical, not synthetic. Structurally identical to the hormones your body already makes.
- Titrated to symptoms, not just numbers. We treat the person in front of us, not a printout.
- Monitored over time. Hormone needs change. Your plan changes with them.
- Conflict-free. We earn nothing from medications, labs, or pharmacy relationships. The only thing we sell is care.
Who we treat
Women
Perimenopause and menopause are the most common reasons women come to us, but the symptoms start earlier and run wider than most are told: hot flashes, night sweats, brain fog, sleep loss, weight gain, low libido, mood changes, and anxiety. Women’s hormone care here is not testosterone alone. It centers on estradiol and progesterone, with testosterone, thyroid, and micronutrient support added where the clinical picture calls for it.
Men
Low energy, loss of strength, weight gain, poor sleep, low drive, and a general flatness are not simply aging. We evaluate the full hormonal and metabolic picture before recommending anything, and we treat men with the same physician-directed precision, not a franchise testosterone protocol.
Couples and households
Hormonal change rarely happens to one person in a home alone. Our household membership lets partners be optimized together under one practice.
Our services
- Bioidentical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT). The foundation of the practice, for women and men.
- Hormone optimization. The whole system balanced, not one hormone chased.
- Testosterone therapy for women. An underserved need most clinics ignore entirely. Addressed here for libido, energy, mood, and body composition.
- Testosterone therapy for men. Physician-directed, monitored, not a storefront protocol.
- Estradiol and progesterone therapy. The core of women’s hormone care.
- Perimenopause and menopause care. For the transition, start to finish.
- Thyroid optimization. For the fatigue, weight, and cognitive symptoms that overlap with hormonal change and are often missed.
- Metabolic and weight support. Including hormone evaluation when a GLP-1 has stalled.
- Low-Dose Naltrexone (LDN). For the right patient, as part of an integrative plan.

What this costs you, and what it does not
We are a direct-pay practice, and we are deliberately transparent about money, because the way most of medicine handles it is part of the problem. We do not mark up your medications. We do not profit from what we prescribe. We work with independent pharmacies, and we pass your labs through to you at the pricing we have negotiated on your behalf, at cost. We do not make a dollar on your prescriptions or your bloodwork, which keeps every recommendation about you and nothing else. We go over the specifics, including exactly what membership includes and what it costs, with you on your discovery call.
Frequently asked questions
Is hormone therapy safe?
For most healthy people, yes, and the fear most patients carry traces back to one misread study. The 2002 Women’s Health Initiative used synthetic hormones in older women, not bioidentical hormone therapy in the population we typically treat. Current evidence supports the safety of properly monitored, physician-directed bioidentical therapy. Dr. Massihi reviews your personal history and risk before anything is prescribed.
Do I have to live in Madison or Jackson to be a patient?
No. AllureMD is telehealth-first and serves the entire state of Mississippi. You are seen from home wherever you live, and your labs are drawn locally.
Are these bioidentical or synthetic hormones?
Bioidentical only. They are structurally identical to the hormones your body produces. We do not use synthetic substitutes.
Is this just testosterone, or pellets?
Neither defines us. We are not a pellet-led or testosterone-only clinic. We optimize the full hormonal system, and for women that centers on estradiol and progesterone. The route of therapy is chosen for your biology, not for the clinic’s convenience.
Will my insurance cover it?
We are a direct-pay practice, which is what keeps our advice conflict-free and our pricing honest. We walk you through exactly what membership includes and what it costs on your discovery call, with no surprises.
How soon will I feel different?
It varies by person and by what we are treating. Hormone therapy is titrated and monitored over time, not a single quick prescription. We adjust to how you feel, and most patients begin noticing change within the first several weeks.
What areas of Mississippi do you serve?
All of it. Our roots are strongest in the central metro (Madison, Ridgeland, Jackson, Clinton, Brandon, Flowood, Pearl), and we treat patients statewide, including the Coast, Hattiesburg, Tupelo, Southaven, Oxford, and Meridian.
You do not have to accept feeling like a diminished version of yourself, and you do not have to drive across the state to get real care. If your symptoms have been dismissed because your labs looked normal, we can take a closer look at why.
AllureMD is telehealth-first, so you’re seen from home no matter where you live in Mississippi. Patients come to us from across the Jackson metro and beyond, and you can read what care looks like locally in Madison, Jackson, Brandon, and Clinton.
